Goodman has been playing really well the past several weeks, going back to the Broncos game. QBs are rarely throwing it his way as of late. With that said, should the Fins try putting Goodman on Evans?

Also interesting to know that Jason Allen's first good game this year was against the Bills, when he was matched up against Bills rookie James Hardy. He played him really well. Its strange that he probably wont play this week. Look for Joey Thomas to get burned :( ... or flagged for PI atleast twice this Sunday.

Right now Will Allen is our best corner, but either way Evans is going to get at least 100 yards and maybe a TD. Our DBs are the weakest unit on the team. But yeah goodman is playing well and he could do quite well, but losman loves evans and will throw to him regardless. I agree with the Thomas statement. To think people think he's better than Jason Allen!!?!? We'll see what Sparano does.

Goodman has not been playing that well, I really don't know what either of you are reaching at.

He's the 2nd or 3rd best CB on a below average secondary (ranked 26th, if I'm not mistaken). That's pretty much how he's played - a few nice defensive stops but one or two big plays against him every game.

No way, Will Allen is our best cover corner. Yes, Goodman has played fine lately, but we all know he struggles against the deep pass tooooooooooo often. Goodman is not 'that' good. People have a short memory span it seems....don't forget the ARI game and the HOU game....among many other moments in other games...

I will be astonished if we do not have Goodman (and help from a safety) or Allen (and help from a safety) on Evans almost every play of this game. If I see Evans on Thomas or Allen (if he plays), I will be irate. I understand the whole having Will Allen covering the slot and sometimes blitzing but not in this game. My two biggest concerns are Lee Evans and Marshawn Lynch (back spasms or not).

Evans Watch!!

I agree, Lee Evans always torches us up there... hopefully Toronto will be a little more forgiving to us this year.

I agree, people have a short memory. They have completely forgotten how good Andre Goodman was for us in 2006. 2007 was a lost season for him because of the shoulder surgeries. He got off to a rough start this season, but has been very, very good for the last 2 months.

it doesn't matter who we put on who....if the QB has all day to trow once again like in the last 2 weeks, then their WR's are gonna have a good day...we need to get a pass rush if we're going to win out those last 4 games.

Ozzy rules!!

Some stats on Goodman.

In the first 2 games, his man caught 9 of 12 passes, for 181 yards, that's 75% completions for 15 yards per attempt.

In the 10 games since then, his man has caught just 22 of 47 passes for 269 yards. That's 46% completions for 6 yards per attempt.

seeing how this staff has planned the past 2 weeks it wouldn't surprise me to see joey thomas on lee evans......... jason allen was beating up lee evans on the line last meeting if you guys remember
