I was for Pennington to start off the season and wasn't completely sold on Henne but from what we've seen the last two weeks I'm starting to think maybe Henne should have been the starter from the beginning. I know hindsight is 20/20 but we started off 0-3 anyway and one thing Henne brings that Pennington doesn't is the ability and Willingness to make and/or attempt any throw. You could just tell there were some throws Pennington just wasn't going to attempt and as good as he is at other things that could have held us back from a win or two. I honestly don't think we beat the Jets on Monday night if Pennington was the QB.

I think the way it happened couldn't have been better.. Even though it was very frustrating to watch the first 3 games remember that Pennington played pretty damn well in the second game against the colts.

By the way, I truly believe that if pennington had stayed healthy, we would have been 1-4 right now.

I say no. Henne has looked great in his two starts, but Pennington was our leader and was as healthy as capable as ever at the start of the season.

If Henne started the season, and we went 0-3 with a proven and healthy Pennington on the sidelines we all would be climbing the walls at the Dolphins headquarters with pitchforks and torches.

From what we see now it seems like Henne was the right choice however truth is that Henne did not look like he was ready to be it in Preseason he was trowing stupid INTs so I though he need this year behind Penny but he has steped up very good and this nasty Running games takes a lot of pressure of him sometimes.

Yes, hind sight is 20/20...but yes. The Colts game was a prime example, very similar to the Jets games, but in the Jets games....we were getting TD's. Henne can make throws that Pennington can't, plain and simple. People are going to have to respect the run as always, but now we have the home run capibility we have lacked for a long time. I will not cringe everytime it is 3 and 6 or longer now, knowing that some sort of screen pass or outlet 4 yards short of the first down is coming everytime! Noone can prove anything, but I think that we have 1-2 more wins if Henne was the starter.

Tired of the pennington jock riders. Very little talent and he handicapped us against any solid team. A better QB would've never thrown 4 int's in the playoffs.

Pennington sucks.

There was no way Henne was going to start based on the win column last year but let's face it the FO wasn't too concerned with Henne making an appearance...

Honestly, Henne is the man now, it no longer matters.

Pennignton's injury was a blessing in disguise. It was destine for it to go down the way it did.

How could you possibly bench a QB coming of a spectacular season? Pennignton helped us win the AFCE and took us to the playoffs, no one in their right mind could come out and bench Pennington.

i wanted to trade Pennington around draft time and got beat up around here for it.
:boohoo:

So were u born in 2000? or u became a fan in 2000? i cant figure out which it is...

LoL at this dude.

This was eventually going to be Henne's team, Pennington's injury just happened to be a blessing in disguise. What it did was save the coaching staff from having to bench a guy that was a team captain and the QB responsible for last year's turnaround.
