In today's game it would appear that the Phins options on covering the best TE in the game are Wheeler, Sheppard, Wilson, Jones, or Jordan. Who should Coyle pick?

I'm all in for wanting to see a Gronk-Jordan match up.

Sure he should. We have tried it before.....and I'm not sure we have a better option. Plus, we have to find a home for Jordan, this might be something he is really good at.

Lets give it a try.

Sure. Why not? Jones will get some play against as well.

Pick your flavor

I've posted before that I thought Jordan has the skill set to be the best TE cover in the league. Don't know if the added weight has hurt that but, would really like to see him vs Gronk.

It could prove how much the team "Fracked Up" in putting him at DE.

What do we have to lose?

Gronk and the running game are going to have their way against Miami. Hate to say it but everyone sees that coming. Backup linebackers and a d - line that has been pushed off the line almost every running play the last quarter of the season equals disaster. Not to mention Jimmy "Liability" Wilson starting. Miami better score 50 points.

The way we've played against the run recently, they may not even need to go to Gronk very often. If we can't stop the Pat's ground game, Brady and Co. might have a below average passing day simply because they won't need to go to the air very often.

Last year's Jordan, absolutely, this years has not taken to the weight gain very well and Gronk would abuse him more often than not.

I'd actually consider Aiken has possibly our best cover guy on Gronk today. Wilson, Jones, Jordan, Wheeler . . . these guys aren't good matchups.

I really dont understand the OPs question. If Jordan is healthy. ..why is this even a thread?

Belicheat would have turned Jordan into a 2-way stud by now. Droopy dog? not so much
