Should Martz be interviewed?

In a word, no. Anyone who really follows football or knows much about the game could tell you this, it has been discussed umpteen different times in umpteen different threads. No, Martz is a disaster as a HC and you would enjoy about 4 more years of Wanny/Saban mediocrity under him with no discernable progress made when he finally gets fired.
Disater.

I think Martz would be a nice change of things...our past 3 coaches have been defensive guys...It would be a nice change to get an offensive guy in here who knows how to sling the ball around. I think Martz has proven he can have a good offense. Ill probably get ripped for saying this....And remember St louis had a top 5 offense while he was there.. St louis offense wasnt the problem when he was there. It was their inept and invisible defense. And he did draft alot of playmakers on offense too

I think pairing Mike Martz with Dom Capers and Tom Heckert would be great for the Dolphins. What do you think

Nope! I like to run the ball, and I think you need to run it to succeed in this league.

Our defense is too old for that score quick stuff. Although its better option than Carroll.

You think our defense is too old but yet what it takes to run the ball is a stout defense. just because you have a pass happy offense doesnt mean you score quickly. Look at philly, they are pass happy and they utilize every method pf passing...Their runningback led the team in receptions

I think Martz proved that you don't have to run the ball to death to be successful. So has Andy Reid for that matter.

That's EXACTLY what I've been thinking since Saban left. My first choice is Cowher.. But it Doesn't look like that's a possibility.
Mike Martz was the offensive coordinator of the Greatest show on Turf.
EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED. OFFENSE!!!!

WHO IS THISS??! Are you Mike Mularky?? Get out of here!

Or are you Wannstache?

NO!!!!!!!!! The lions were 3-13 this year, and kitna had more turnovers than any other quarterback. Kurt Warner and Marc Bulger were always getting sacked and turning the ball over under Martz. You need a running game to be a successful offense and a successful team. With Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams, why would we hire Mike Martz

I think Mike Martz is a brilliant OC, but should not be a HC. I don't think he has thick enough skin for it. Not only that, but his in-game decisions are'nt always good. I remember him challenging the spot on a pass, it went 38 yds. for a first down, and he thought it should have been marked as a 40 yd. pass. He lost the challenge, the timeout, and the game. Too much ego for me.

I think we'd be fools not to! Problem is i haven't heard a peep as far as martz even getting an interview. Infact i'm wondering why hes not interviewing elsewhere in the league? Any body heard anything!
