1) Kenard Lang DE/OLB released by the Browns. Versatile and cheaper than Peterson. Though, Nick better act fast before Shanahan signs him.

2) Mike Williams OT. Mularkey may have a good word or two about him and the phins would be sticking it to a division rival.

Let me offer this disclaimer; I prefer the Dolphins build primariliy through the draft but occasionally you can find value among another teams mistake.

1) Would definitely rather have Peterson. Lang is a possibility though.

2) Depends on the price.

No. If Miami chooses to go with 2 pass-rush specialist OLBs(Which isnt a given), it will probabaly be through the draft. I've seen mock drafts with as many as 10 first day defensive ends within a reasonable size range for an OLB conversion. If not through the draft, there are other guys like Andre Carter.

Picking up Mike Williams would not be sticking it to the Bills as much as them drafting him in the first place was. He was a bust in Buffalo. He might need a change of location and Houck might be able to do something with him, but he already had a pretty good line coach in Buffalo.

No, I agree.

My favorite under the radar value FA is Michael Haynes of Chicago. He was a 1st round DE who never really showed a whole lot his rookie year, then kind of got lost in the shuffle after Lovie Smith took over. He tried to lose weight down into the low 270's to fit the cover-2, but he never beat out Alex Brown or Ogunleye. It appears as if he tried to lose weight to fit in there, but he could be a good Anthony Weaver type DE at 6'4" 280.

I would like to see about Williams, depends on the price. I dont want either LB. I say look at O-line and Brees in FA. It will be hard to sign too many after that

Are the Bears planning on cutting Haynes? He's currently under contract until 2008. Would be a good pick up if they're gonna cut him.

1) Wasn't good at OLB in Browns 3-4 defense. Besides, he's not an upgrade over our own backup hybrid DE/OLB types Jason Taylor & David Bowens.

2) Would like Houck's opinion over Mularkey's concerning Mike Williams.

Pretty much all the Bears fans I've seen seem to think that Haynes is going to be cut. He's being paid alot and not really being used, and he spoke out in the past saying he wants to be cut if he is not being given a chance to start I believe.

If Lang isn't good enough for the Browns then he is definitely not good.

Mike Williams hands down(For those of you with your hands raised. What a stupid saying that is). Even minus a Seau, our linebacking core is solid. Crowder is a beast.

I'm hoping that we can come up with eaither Lawson or Carpenter unless we get Greenway first.

Ozzy rules!!

Yea im wit u, im a big greenway hoper 2, they are sayin cutler is going to be movin on up in the draft so that could improve our chances on getting him
