Should Ricky Be Out Of The Game...for Any Reason?

I agree that RW is very capable of the big play and shouldn't necessarily come out on 3rd down.
 
YES HE SHOULD.......

IF the game is clearly won or lost, Ricky should not be on the field.

He is too valuable to play when the game is not in doubt.
 
The game was not 'clearly' won or lost when Ricky hit the sidelines. As others have pointed out, he is not only a great pass catcher/blocker, but also a great decoy. Another example of how the coaching helped lose this game for us.
 
.. even on passing downs when RW doesn't get the ball, he is an excellent pass blocker...
you have seen what he can do with a screen pass...
so yes, he should be in there in 3rd downs..
but then again, maybe all of that rest is helping his game...
there, I managed to agree, then disagree on the very same post.. :D
 
Edwards has more open field moves than Ricky does. That's why he's the 3rd down/2-minute RB. And that's why he was in the game when he was.
