Its a shame we dont play the Ravencanes this year or that would be the perfect time to do it...
 
Did the 'Canes win the National Championship 10 years ago at Dolphins/Sun Life Stadium?
 
Doesn't matter...they are Miami...honoring the Gators doesn't belong in Miami.

As long as the Gators are in Florida, it does matter. Moreso they won their last national title at the stadium.

If you want the Canes to be honored for what they did 10 years ago, why don't you send in a suggestion. While you are at it, how about honoring the Seminoles too.
 
It will be fun. The whole place filled with Canes fans all booing as they introduce Meyer and Tebow.

It will be on ESPN for a month.

Generally, people celebrate anniversaries at intervals of 5 or 10 years. Its odd for the Dolphins want to celebrate a 3 year anniversary for a team that competes against its hometown team.

Slap in the face to the Canes who are actually in Miami. Have JAX honor the gators if it has to be done. Such a lame idea by the phins organization on this one. Absurd.
 
According to the Hyde article, the Dolphins asked the Canes about honoring that team and they declined. There isn't anything left to be said about it.

I guess the Canes have more to worry about these days than being honored for what they did 10 years ago.

This was before everyone know about all the money etc that UM players/coaches have taken over the years. I bet the Dolphins PR department is glad they do not have to clean up both messes.

You do realize that the Hurricanes lease the stadium from the Dolphins, correct? It's kind of a BUSINESS partnership. This isn't the kind of thing you do in the best interest of your partnership...especially considering how close the University and the Dolphins organization has been for the past 40+ years until this big eared freak showed up. It's in bad taste.

Did the 'Canes win the national championship 10 years ago in Sun Life...what the ****? No? Who cares? The Gators did it in 2008. What the hell does that matter when or where they won it? The Dolphins need to EMBRACE locally to fill seats. Those jort wearing booger-eaters from Alachua County and surrounding areas aren't driving in for home games all the time. Reach out to your local community. Don't slap them in the face like this.
