My thoughts are similar to points made in this article.

There is so much about the Miami Dolphins’ quarterback situation that we still don’t know.
Is Ryan Tannehill the guy? Some fans believe he can be but has been let down by bad coaching, a weak offensive line, a weaker running game, and the lack of weapons.
Others believe Tannehill is the problem.

The truth is somewhere in between: Tannehill doesn’t have the protection, his weapons could be better, and the offensive line and running game could be dramatically better.
With that in mind, the question of what to do at quarterback has come up this offseason, a question that only gets muddled when you consider the possibility that of the four top quarterbacks in the 2014 NFL Draft (Teddy Bridgewater, Blake Bortles, Johnny Manziel and Derek Carr), one (or more) could be available when Miami is on the clock

True but thought he made some good points in the article.

do not draft a qb high but take a sleeper later in draft.

I don't feel that drafting a QB is a high priority. Bortles, Manziel, Bridgewater and Carr don't make me feel they are sure thing franchise Qb's. I would not take a QB earlier than round five, even if a guy like Garropolo were to still be on the board. I do like Brett Smith of Wyoming, who I watched play versus Air Force, so he might be worth a 7th rounder, but we still have Moore and Devlin. Maybe Smith could be a practice squad QB.

Yes we should trade out draft picks for the next 10 years so we can draft all 4 of the top qbs. One of them has to be the answer. Tannehill is obviously not the answer. Only 3900 yards and 24 tds behind the worst line in history and no run game... What a scrub. Even buttfumble would of thrown for 50 tds if he ever played with an oline and running game like tannehill had.

What about saving the draft pick and pick up a proven player like David Garrad. I remember seeing his broken down ass water skiing on Hard Knocks. :tubes:

I liked the thoughts of trading with another team if someone wants to come up to 19 for a QB that may still be on the board. Also thought his assessment of Ryan's play was fair. I think after this next year were going to have a fair amount of info to determine if it should be under serious consideration for the following draft.

I can't believe I actually just read that.

Thank you, just follow what the Pats did, they had the number 1 overall pick in 93' who got them to a superbowl, but they didn't hesitate to take a shot in the 6th round on somebody they thought might be worth something someday.
