He ran quite a bit today, had many ugly bends and wraps around his legs. I also saw him get back up slowly a few times, and even noticed a slight limp walk near the end.

We need to get Ricky more involved IMO..

i am concerned. but ronnie is killing it out there. still i'd like to see next week feature ricky more to give rb some rest. IF, BIG IF, there is not a significant drop off in production. gotta hope ronnie and the coaches are thinking long term here and will rest him if needed

I'm with you on this. I know Ricky can produce, we need to get him more involved and more comfortable out there. This allows Ronnie to rest and not have to do so much.

well i would like us to bring in one more rb that can be a third down back and for insurance purposes

not concerned at all. Ronnie Brown is not injury prone. Injury prone players are hurt week in and week out with something new. A pulled hammy one week and a hurt toe the next. Ronnie has just had some bad luck with some big injuries.

not concered, we actually spread the work load around pretty good. i saw ronnie getting some rest on the sidelines a couple times. would like to see ricky get the ball a few more times. but our training staff gets paid too, and they would say if they think he is in danger

Not concerned. The more he touches the ball, the better I think he will become. In preseason, you could tell he was still afraid for his knee. Now though that he has played a bit and tested it out, he is very comfortable with it. He is by far our best offensive weapon. Ricky is doing an OK job. Not great, but he is giving Ronnie some breathing time.

off those end arounds when he has room he is lightning quick, he just doesn't hit the hole with conviction anymore. Ronnie is patient, but not too patient. After a second or 2 if needed he will explode towards the line and get 1-2 yards after first hit on almost every play. Ricky seems like he needs more room to run, but when he does get in the open field wow can the guy still move

I've been preaching the same thing for awhile. Braking fingers and tearing an ACL are not injury prone injuries, they're freak accidents that no athlete can avoid.

As for the topic, can't be anymore (or less) afraid of Ronnie getting hurt than I am of Pennington, Ricky, Porter, or anyone else on the team. This is football, and injuries happen. Its the players who let it bother them that I worry about.

They just came off a bye week. How much more rest do you get during a season? I see what you mean though. If we get a head of steam ahead of us and get a cushion, I'd expect to see Williams or Cobbs get some touches.
