Does he need a dose of Saban pain, and do what we did last year with Linehan?

Do you think that would work in our favor? One thing I noticed yesterday, any team with their coordinators on the sidelines was winning or at least scoring consistently.

What do you think?

we gotta do something IMO Mularkey lost that game.... sure we gave up alot of sacks and Daunte made mistakes underpressure...... But alot of that is because we were soo damn predictable.... did we go into shotgun at all this week ? Did we do anything other then run between the tackles and dink and dunk ??? Oooo a poorly ran reverse and some no huddle...

I think we should drag him out of the box and kick him out of the stadium altogether.

First intelligent post I've read the past two days.
This is an adjustment we might benefit from, certainly something to consider. However, just because it worked for Linehan doesn't mean it will work for Mularkey. Some people are better off upstairs.

It worked last year. Why wait until we are 3-7, DO IT NOW.

I posted earlier, I understand that Saban wanted to stick with the same playbook for the sake of continuity and realize that the most successful football team over the past 5 seasons (the Pats) have had the same offensive and defensive systems since 2000. I do wonder though how comfortable Malarkey is calling Linehans plays?? Could this be something that is hurting us. Either way Saban needs to step in. Your back is averaging 4.6 yards per carry and you give it to him once in the 2nd half. A finheavener could have called a better game.

If that's the case, we may as well drag out the entire offensive coaching staff. The QB's coach, the OL coach, the RB's coach, the whole lot of them should be flushed!!!!.....:jk:

Personally, I blame Culpepper more than anyone for these two losses. As much as I want to bash Mularkey, I don't think his playcalling is the major issue here, I think it's poor decision making at the QB position, and a porous OL that can't play consistantly.....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

I have to agree. For instance, it wasn't Mularkey that let the ball slip out of his hands or whif on quite a few blocks. I think the very poor execution is making Mularkey look worse than maybe he is/was.

But, do any of you recall what the major driver was for Linehan being called down to the sideline last year? I thought it was to have better communication between Linehan and the offense as it was their first year in the offense. If that's true, I'm not sure that pulling Mularkey down will have as big of an impact since it's the second year in the offense for most of the players. The positive I could see is that Saban may be able to have more influence over the playcalling.

I'm sure that I wont be the first person to suggest this but why doesn't Mularky move down to the field?? People were saying that same that about Linehan last year, until he moved onto the field and his play calling got much much better. I wouldnt be surprised to see this done in the next couple of weeks. I think play calling hurt us today, but there were really 3 plays that killed our team. The INT, the Pass Interfence, and the blocked punt.

This is my post from yesterday, seems we had the same idea.

If it helps then yes. I just dont like the way weve started the season. We look flat in too many areas. We will improve but i did have better expectations and they may have been set too high.

Burn him at the stake is what I say.

i have NEVER like the o-coach in the box.

they need to be down on the field where they can be
closer to the players. better comunication that way!

but in mularkeys case, probably won't matter much.

Hopefully, This was our "Cleveland" Game. If you all recall last year it took an ultimately Stupid, embarrassing effort in Cleveland to turn our season around. The only difference this year is that it happened the second game of the season and it happened at home. They couldn't hear us booing in Cleveland last year for all the cheering the Browns fans were doing. But I have to say it can not get much worse than Sundays effort. You could tell that the vets were highly embarrassed. The fans are right to be all over anyone in the dolphin organization that will listen. Now having said that.
1.) Bring mularkey down onto the sidelines like we did Linehan and have him in front of the team and the fans.
2.) No Huddle from here on out.
3.) Get the ball down the field early and often ( if we're going to stink up the place lets at least make it look like we are trying to get somewhere besides 5 yards.
4.) Most important " Accountabilty" Someone needs to start taking the blame. Sabans say's we got rid of some players that just don't get it. Well Suday "Nobody Got It":fire:
