Should we have drafted Jared Gaither or Paul Oliver

Last offseason there was a mix of opinions on whether we should take Maryland Tackle Jared Gaither or Georgia Cb Paul Oliver in last year's Supplemental Draft.

Both were the only players taken the Supplemental Draft, Oliver was considered to be the "best player" in that draft and the Chargers spent a 4th rd pick on him.

Gaither was taken one rd later by the Ravens with a 5th rd pick and with Johnathon Ogden retiring due to health issues Gaither is the "heir" to the all pro.

Should we have taken either player, and would it have been worth a 4th for either player?

Can he tackle? I do not want to see another DB on this team that has not clearly demonstrated success in tackling. Our secondary is horrible at the practice.

People think Parcells is stuck on "Big" on defense. It isn't "Big". "Big" just helps in making tackles. I think he would draft a runt if the runt could tackle.

True, Tuna won the second Super Bowl with Everson Walls at Cb..Jim Burt was never "athletic" and Gary Reasons used to be called the Beach Ball..

Gaither is 6'7 and 350 though..Oliver did not play a down....

True, You always hear about Parcells and size etc. But really he just likes football players, big or small: Dave Meggett, Wayne Chrebet ring a bell anyone. Even Lauvernius Coles.
