Should we have drafted Orton?

You know, I know it's just his first preseason game, and he was playing against mostly scrubs, but Kyle Orton looked very good, short of the pick (and even better after!). He looked very confident, and much like a player who feels he has something to prove after slipping from a sure-fire first rounder early in the '04 college season (when he was setting the world on fire), to a fourth-round pick. The guy has talent!

I so wanted Miami to draft him at some point, but :yell:. I just have a feeling the guy is going to be a star at some point. And if I were Rex Grossman, I would do my best not to get hurt again!

Anyone else think we missed the boat on this guy?

I saw that Orton looked real good, I've been hearing alot of people say it all over diffrent boards, looks like he was a good pick up for them, I think hes better than Huctinson, Grossman is ok.

I was hoping we would have drafted him. So yes, personally I think we should have. But he more than likely wouldn't have started this year anyway.

we should have drafted a QB this year in the later rounds, and we should keep drafting QBs every year until we find a good one
