Should we keep Gus

Should we ask him to take a pay cut and stay as back-up QB, or should we cut him as soon as we sign Brees?

If he doesn't take a pay cut, we have to cut him. He would make a great backup though.

I'd love to have him as a backup. Who better to manage a game in our system than him? But I bet he leaves... he still seems to have that competitive fire for starting, and with Brees coming in, he'd be all but relegated to the bench for the rest of his career.

I wonder if Mularky wants Maddox. Ramsey is also coming in but they mentioned as a backup. Im not sure he would want that but he may not have a choice unless some team out there is willing to give him the keys.

Hopefully Gus can get it through his head that he`s better off restructuring, and staying here as a backup, but I`m sure he thinks he can start somewhere else. I`d much prefer him as a backup over Ramsey, or God forbid Maddox.
