Ashley Lelie is an absolutly horrible WR. Just 100% useless. How do I know this? Because he spent the last two seasons and hasn't made a single play. (and their WR core is/was the worst in the league, yet he couldn't crack the starting line up)

I would not be disappointed to have Simms over Beck. That said, I don't think the last has been heard of Beck either. I wasn't one of his big supporters but, I'm not so quick to toss him under the bus. I would not be disappointed either way.

No thanks to Ashlie, I was shocked to see Denver cut J.Barrett SS. To bad, I thought he would be an asset at SS and had the size to play LB with incredible speed.

Cuts I would at least take a look at would be Tampa Bay DT Dre Moore from Maryland. He was picked in fourth round and had third round talent coming out. Other player would be from the Cowboy NT Junior Siavii who also had third round grade coming out in 2004

I can see why we would want Simms but I think that he has better options. Come to Miami and be 3rd String or go to somewhere little Carolina or GreenBay where he can be back up to a QB who in both examples may not make a full season.
From Beck's POV he needs a new team but from ours - he's a servicable 3rd QB and still has potential. Having said that if we get offered a pick I think he's gone.

I don't see Lelie being any kind of upgrade over what we have now. Additionally, he can't seem to stick anywhere for one reason or another. It's always something. What makes anyone think that Simms wants to be a clipboard holder? Bottom line: Lelie sucks and Simms is not a fit for the Dolphins.

291 Attempts, 12TDs, 17 Ints, 43 Sacks, 9 Fumbles (6 turnovers), 72% rating.
Numbers comparable to 05/06 for Favre, but who really thinks Simms is capable of a Favre -like 07 resurrection? - or someone who's magically learned how to take better care of the rock??
Also believe he was benched at Texas, if memory's correct. This is a kid who in the crapshoot of heredity, ended up with more of his mom's genes than his dad's.

Yes on Simms with Pennigton's injury history. No on Lelie. he was here in Denver and he is worthless.

Lelie has disappointed in the NFL since day 1. I like Simms, but would he be that much of an upgrade than what we have?? I don't know that he is.
