Rex Grossman suffered a broken ankle Friday night against the Rams. He will be out 3-4 months, at least half the season.

Sage Rosenfels played impressively against the Bears (albeit in the 3rd quarter against the 2nd string defense). And, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Ron Turner the brother of Norv Turner and they basically use the same system? If that is the truth then Sage should already know the basics of their system and terminology.

Brock Berlin has played impressively for us. I think we should feel out the Bears and see what they think. I'd like to see Brock Berlin kept on this team (and god does it pain me to say that after watching him play for my beloved Canes)

Send Brock Berlin, he seems to like throwing to the Bears anyway.

I bet you did'nt think that during the second half of that thrashing the Canes gave the Gators a couple of years ago. But I hear what you're saying.

And the Bears will give us what for Sage.

why would they want Sage? he is a 3rd string
they want at least a 2nd

I think thell pick up a Veteran QB from Free Agents and go with the rookie they drafted.

Ron Turner was the Head Coach of San Jose State University when I graduated in 1992. I believe he is the brother of Norv Turner. They both grew up in Martinez, California in the 50s.

The Bears won't want a guy who only had one start in the NFL. The Bears will likely want a QB who has quite a bit of starting experience.

SAGE IS NOT EVEN WORTHY OF BEING AN NFL BACKUP, he is happy making a paycheck holding a clip board and he will continue to do so for the rest of his career.

what have you sage supporters been watching the past few years?
