Hell yeah!
I know he only threw one pass last night when the game was all ready out of reach, however it was a real nice pass in double coverage to Chambers. Frerotte all year has overthrown all deep bombs and he missed both Chambers and Williams last night for potential big plays. A 37% completion percentage is too bad a number to ignore. I think playing a weaker opponent next week, they give Sage a shot. He will definitely be no saviour, but we can't get much worse than 37%! Did someone tell Saban, Frerotte was a Manning offspring or something? Why is he throwing the ball 30+ times anyways? Nice catch by Chambers anyhow and wicked awesome run by Ronnie Brown!

Yes, because that's more good throws than gus has had all season.

No. I would use that as another example (combined with his bomb to Chambers last year) as to a good chemistry between the two which can't be said about Gus. But Sage needs to start just for the plain fact that Gus has been awful. He may not be throwing as many INTs as say Feeley, but he is so freakin inaccurate. Sage has shown enough in pre-season to show that he has a strong accurate arm, and that he can lead a team down the field. He was going against backups, but he did move the ball which is something Gus has never been able to do except for the opener.

No we should start him because of all the throws Gus has not been making and to give a guy a shot that seems to have some ability.

No, we should start Sage because we are a 2-4 team that is clearly going nowhere this year, and Gus Frerotte is 34-years old and doesn't have a FUTURE in this league. We have no choice to see what we've got in Sage, and if he doesn't show us any glimpes of starting ability in 3-4 weeks, and Lemon has learned the system...we should put him in & see what he's got as well.

Basically, last night should've been Frerotte's last start as a Dolphin.

Gus been awful and some of those throws last night were embarassing. I had to go to the bar to watch the game which was about half KC / half Dolphins fans. I don't agree with them but several of the guys were so embarassed that they took off their jerseys
in the second half. Thats how low we have sunk Nick!

Start Sage, start Cleo geez sign my mom and start her but get the POS Gus out of there!

this is a very minor point and certainly not a reason to start him, but the fins could get some trade value out of sage if he fills in well

hell ya im down with sage, gus over throws on deep passes and under throws on the short passes, and than has problems being on the same page with his WR's... time to see what the younger guy can do... it aint like the season is ova or anything, we 2-4 in a divison where the best record is 3-3 at this point....

but if we dont do something now, we will be talking about the draft in early dec instead the playoffs.......

I doubt Sage is ready to start in this offense right now. I think the biggest problem our team is currently going through is they are not quite up to speed with the TWO new schemes they are running.

When a lot of the players are not up to speed in an offense or a defense that can easily make any # of players look horrible.

No, we shouldnt. We should start Sage because of 5000000 bad throws by Gus. His rating is probably like 60, which is NOT good by any stretch of the imagination

65.9, and the only two worse in the NFL are Daunte Culpepper and Kyle Orton.
