I noticed when we lined up in the Wildcat against the Raiders, they would bring the guy across from Pennington up near the line of scrimmage. If Pennington runs forward on that play, and Ronnie takes the snap, fakes the run forward and steps back, he should have a wide open throw to Pennington.

we have tried it before so it is in the playbook, when we tried it he was covered so ronnie had to pull it down

hell to the nooooooo, it would surprise em but we dont want to risk getting penny injured on a gimmick play. im sure a linebacker would love to take a cheap shot at him if we embaressed their d cause of it

We need to eventually put another successful throw into the Wildcat. Teams have dismissed that part of the formation, and misdirection can only work so many times. If they see that passing out of the Wildcat is a viable option, more big runs will come from the formation.

Line Teddy up for the snap.... he threw a wildcat TD at OSU.

When have we tried a throw to Chad? The only time he has touched the ball in the Cat was against the Texans on the reverse.

Why put your team MVP in a position to get killed by a LB or a safety? Not a good idea at all. Besides even if Chad caught the ball it's not like he is going to break a tackle and sprint for a TD.

Ted has a live arm I'm surprised we haven't seen him take any direct snaps yet. Maybe they don't think he is ready to read and react with a pass option yet.

Pennington is like one of the least athletic quarterback's in the NFL. No thanks. He will get knocked on his ***.

NO F'N WAY!!!! If he gets destroyed by a 250 LB our season could be over, and for what 4 or 5 yards!!!

Plus Penny is not a WR, his hands probably suck and he isn't nearly as fast as a DB. If he is behind the line and dosen't catch it, or fumbles.....just give the other team an easy 7.

I can't imagine Sparano putting our QB in that situation.

Maybe Sparano is just waiting for the "perfect time" to do just that...

*AHEM* second game against the patriots *cough* *cough* ;)
