Quietly having a pretty good rookie year. 3rd round pick out of Alabama has not disappointed. Always seems to make a difference. Doesn't get talked about a lot because jay gets most of the love. Another great draft pick. He has sneaky speed and is pretty explosive. He has great hands as well and I can't wait to see him continue to improve. Fins up!!!!

I would like to see what he could do with 15-20 touches per game. Maybe 10-15 carries and 5 receptions.

Extremely proud of another local boy from West Ga making it as a RB with the Dolphins. Ronnie was a Cartersville boy and Kenyan was a Powder Springs boy. Just goes to show you, a few of those high school kids you watch on Friday night might be future pros. Tons of respect for the young man and hope he continues to get involved with this offense.

thot what he had to say during interview on 560 the other morning was illuminating; when asked if the game had 'slowed down' for him, he answered that it's the opposite: feels he got 'sped up' to NFL speed, and that his Alabama years prepared him well for this level. insight I can share with my son/player with regards to metal/physical preparation at next level

He has delivered some big plays for us this year - terrific contribution given his limited time on the field. That run in the Buffalo game was sick.

He's functional at 215 pounds right now. If he puts on 10 more pounds in the offseason and can keep his speed he could be scary at 6'1 225 . He wouldn't have to be a bull dozer, but strong enough to get a few yards inside here and there and then pop a longer run several times ala Lamar Miller. Plus it's always nice to see a back wearing #32 in honor of Benny Malone I'm sure.

Some have tried the weight gain thing and it had adverse effects (Melvin Gordan as a rookie)....

I would like to see his role expanded, but he is helping when needed....for once I think we can trust the staff ad how they use and develop these players.

He complements Ajayi well...has Millers speed with better moves...may not be as durable though.

Thunder & Lightning backfield.

He's a prime example of what happens when you draft a player and trust him as opposed to Philbin who only liked 4 and 5 year vets

Yeah, Philbin had a weird trend of not giving draftees a chance their rookie years outside of Ryan.

I know some of us just don't like Philbin, but i believe rookies saw more playing time under Philbin than they have under Gase. Not knocking either for the way things played out, just saying if we're going to knock on Philbin there are plenty of other issues we can choose from. In fact Lamar Miller and Damien WIlliams had more carries as rookies than Drake has. i don't think it was a case of Philbin not liking them. Landry, Martin, James, jones, Miller and other rookies got lots of playing time.

If you have followed Miller in Houston at all this season you should know hes been the exact opposite of "durable". He has had an injury scare probably every other game, either missing a quarter, half, coming out for a series with a different ailment every time. He seemed "durable" in Miami because he was never used as a "work horse", he cant hold up the way Houston uses him. He was even quoted as saying he felt as if it was Week 30.

As dumb as the previous coaching staffs who had Miller were, I think they were actually onto something when it came to treating Miller like a true #1
