I've got 50 rounds of .38 Special that I need to load before I go to bed tonight.
Tomorrow I'm going to the shooting range and don't want to run short of ammunition. It's easy to go through 100 rounds a session using pistols.
Rifles and their recoil usually limit me to 20 - 30 rounds a session. My Savage Axis II bolt-action rifle in 6mm ARC needs to have its barrel cool down every 6 shots, or my accuracy suffers. The gun and commercial ammo let me get sub 1" groups at 100 yards.
My old Enfield #4 MK I is usually good for 1.5" groups at 100 yards, but last year I did get some 3/4" groups. That rifle is just 1 year younger than I am. - LOL
