How is Shula saying that he would not take Ricky Williams back?
Shula is agreeing with Saban. Shula is simply saying that even though he wouldn't want too, he would have no choice but to keep Ricky because of what the Dolphins have invested in him.

Saban and Shula both reffer to Ricky as a commodity by using the words "investment" and "value."
While I will agree that Shula is a little more apprehensive than Saban when it comes to Ricky. I don't see how anyone can come to the conclusion that Shula is second guessing Saban.
Shula has forgotten more football than anyone on this board will ever know. So instead of criticizing Shula for stepping on Saban's toes maybe some of you should work on your reading comprehension.
