Not sure what the story is here but Don Shula will receive his Hall of Fame "Winningest Coach" ring, 22 years after being inducted, during halftime of Sunday's game 's the Cowboys. Marino and Griese will make the presentation.

Why did it take so long for him to get his ring? I thought they get rings when inducted, though I could be wrong. Or is this just a special creation by the Hall to honor Shula?
