Defense has every right to be pissed. They kept holding the Bengels series after series and the offense could not take advantage.

Yes they should be pissed, but not cause they dont want to play lights out the whole game...is there any other way to play? Not how I was taught..Playing basketball or whatever wiht my dad and brothers would result in screaming, and physical play that almost resulted in fights. We'd go to different parts of the house afterwards to cool down for about 30 minutes afterwards. THats how we played sports regardless of whether its sandlot, highschool, or college. Now were all older and when the family gets together its the same thing...the kids and wives think were nuts,but there is only one speed and that is 100%, no ifs, ands, or butts! ANd regardless of the end of cinci and any reasons the D might have played in it, the opnly thing that I find extremely disturbing is the fact that they don't want to play lights out every friggin second. Canes may not always win, but they will give you 100% 4 quarters and headhunt.
since our D was shutting down the Bengals O just as effectively as their D was shutting down our O (until the end of the game).......just how is it that our D was on the field the whole time?
To add to the list of games blown by the D just in the last year.
Houston - thought they were going to practice
Titans - allowed 2 TDs on their first 2 opening drives putting us in a shooting/air war we aren't designed to win
Philly - 24 misses tackles when the O put up, what, something like 27 pts.
BTW...I hate hearing about the "Monday Night Miracle" by the JETS.....hopefully the Colts 4 TD comeback against the Bucs in 4 minutes last year will supplant us....
All these examples said, the D has a right to be pissed when the O plays as poorly as they did last week. We all do.
