I read it all, and it didnt seem like he was trashing us. Just stating the fact that Ricky is in trouble. The guy brings up a very valid point about Ricky's past. No need to hate the writer because he didn't write "Dolphins are awesome!!!"PhinPhan1227 said:This guy is demonstrating a real hard on for the Phins. First he dumps on Culpepper, now Ricky. Next he'll be calling Saban a bust.
Exactly. 90% of the people here dont even think about what was written. Just if its slightly bad for Miami they are horrible writters. Its annoyingBigTallChris said:I think it's a toss-up on whether Ricky wins his appeal or not. The writer does bring up good points about his past problems and acknowledgements of pot use, but then again Ricky has been a "model" NFL citizen/player for the past year.
I still think that if someone in the Denver organization did not leak this, then it would be MUCH easier for him to win his appeal, because the public would have never known about it. Now that the public knows, the NFL may feel like they have to discipline him in some way.
And why the hell is the NFL not going after the Denver organization or the person who leaked this information?!?!?! Just one more reason for me to really hate the Broncos!!!

Some great points he makes are:
1. Ricky's past will wotk against him in the appeal. Tags may not care about mercy for someone who has blown chance after chance and tells he media about how much he loves pot.
2. This is the same NFL who fines people for wearing the wrong socks.
3. The NFL wants to send a message. NFL loves image and may not care about a character such as Ricky.
Very valid points. Not hate.
