MIAMI DOLPHINS

What Went Right: They traded for a franchise quarterback in Daunte Culpepper. As many questions as I have about him -- specifically, can he excel without Randy Moss or former offensive coordinator Scott Linehan? -- he's still the best signal-caller to hit Miami since Dan Marino retired. You also can't overlook the addition of two new coordinators (Mike Mularkey on offense and Dom Capers on defense). Head coach Nick Saban has arguably the best coaching staff in football.

What Went Wrong: They trusted Ricky Williams.

Grade: A-

nice post man. good to hear SI giving us props and recognizing the coaching staff this org. is working with. Except this time we trusted rickey and have ronnie to fill the hole.

can't wait for this season

Whatever you do don't show this to Pat fans for it's their god given right to have he best of everything without question!! How dare someone make up such lunacy when the all mighty Pats are in the midst of their 20 year domination streak...it's blasphemy I tell ya, Blasphemy!!

you know what i think is funny, the only thing that they could see wrong with our offseason is something we couldn't control

Well thats not entirely true, nobody forced us to keep Ricky. We did so with the knowledge he could fail another test and miss the whole season, it was a risk and we lost.

You'll tend to get that impression from the Patsfans message board. They are all so arogant and no one can fire me up more than those guys.

Financially and functionally it was not much of a risk.

What went wrong? What the hell? He won two games for us ran for over 850 yards and 7TD's. I fwe pick up a FA in the offseason that does that its a coup. What went wrong? Give me a break..............

And how many do you suppose were fans before the year they beat the Rams in the Super Bowl? I bet not very many.....

we didn't completely lose when we brought ricky back imho. according to lord saban, ricky was very instrumental in bringing ronnie up to speed. the guy was basically ronnie's on-field mentor. if they didn't share loads last year, i don't think we would've had the success we did. now that ronnie's seen what the nfl is about, he'll know what to expect and hopefully carry the load by himself.
