Karma, baby. It's all about the karma. New York's ill-fated fling with Favre last season necessitated Pennington's departure in early August, and, of course, the longtime Jets quarterback wound up signing with AFC East rival Miami. Boy, did the worm turn by Week 17. It was Dolphins at Jets, with both teams still alive in the playoff chase at the beginning of the day. Playing in his old stadium, Pennington threw two touchdown passes as Miami upset New York 24-17 and became just the second team in NFL history to improve by 10 wins from one season to the next. Oh, and did we mention the loss ended both the Favre and Eric Mangini eras in New York? That's the NFL's version of a twin-killing.

Favre beating the Packers was number 2 already. What if the Packers win this week though? I'd put ours ahead of Eagles/TO. It's not hard to get revenge against a team with TO on it.

And does the Patriots beating the Jets after spygate count as revenge? It's not the Jets fault the Patriots used to spy on teams.

They barely beat us at home and they were en route to 16-0 while we were on our way to 4-12. What kind of revenge did they really get?

Exactly. I guess the Jets were the reason the NFL found out, I forgot, maybe it's revenge only for Patriots fans. I'd say the real revenge would be if the Eagles, Panthers or Rams beat up on the Patriots afterward.

The rest of us loved Spygate. Not just the AFC east, I mean the entire NFL. I have to thank the Jets for that, It gave us lots of good material, like the photoshop of the Patriots Elvis head peeking into a camera.

Actually NE other teams had complained about it before the Jets, they got the penalty after the jets said something b/c they had been warned not to do it again.

We were playing in dec as a 4-12 team, there wasn't much hope and we only lost by 10 points on the road. I think most of us were susprised.

+++1. Alwasy fun to beat the Green Filth at their turf. The game had moments of good defense, TOs, and Penny coming through when needed. It was a good ride for Penny. But heart in the end makes up only so much for limitations with natural ability and durability.
