SI/King manning and wayne eyeing package deal

itll be nice to see what manning looks like out there..old manniing =yes....a less than half of manning =no...him working out with wayne down in mia sounds positive though.

There's plenty of possibilities for Manning...

Houston, Kansas City, Baltimore, Seattle, Washington.

I hope we get him because I have little hope in the possibility of getting rg3

wayne and manning were in miami last week working out together, probably getting used to their eventual surroundings, wayn is from miami and manning has a condo there so it makes sense.

I like it. It's all too perfect and logical. Wayne would be a great #2 across from Marshall. Throw Bess in the slot and Hartline as the #4 receiver he should be, that's suddenly a really good wr corps. Allow Gates more time to grow and maybe draft a guy. Not bad... I really think Manning could convince such a familiar player to come at a lower cost; unless he were thrown a ridiculous amount by someone.

Hell I would take Marino and Duper at this point! Give us some firepower now!!!! LOL

Saturday could show Pouncey how to shotgun snap that Peyton prefers...

I get more interested in Manning with talk like this. It speaks to him believing he is healthy. Of course that is just want he wants. If I could script a future I would rather not have Manning and take success from a QB in the draft. I'm warming to Manning slowly. I personally would prefer a guy that had not been the face of a different team elsewhere. It will be a bit like "Manning and the Dolphins" instead of just the Dolphins. But hell, bring them all down, at least maybe we can get the bad years behind us and at least there will be a story in stead of nothing.

Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Wayne had 960 yards last year with scrubs throwing him the ball, which is about equal to what Bess and Hartline had put together. One way or another Hartline or Bess has to be replaced in the starting rotation. They're both brutally mediocre at best and should be 3rd and 4th WR's. Bring in Manning and Wayne and not only is Marshall a threat to have 1300 yards receiving but you have Wayne who would seemingly be a lock for 1000 as well. It's almost too good to be true. It'd allow us to focus solely on pass rushers and defense as well as offensive line in the draft.

Its going to be difficult for teams to clear enough cap to sign Manning (and I doubt he even plays in 2013), let alone clear enough space for Manning AND Wayne. I just dont see how the reported interested parties in the Manning sweepstakes can afford both players.

I really don't want Wayne at this point in his career and I'm betting it would cost waaaaay toooo much for both.

Manning...maybe
Wayne...I'll pass and go with our young WRs.
