SI: Miami's Mike Pouncey served grand jury subpoena in Massachusetts

If there are not any pending criminal charges why couldn't they wait until he got back home....the media is gonna have a field day with this!!!

Chances are they will offer immunity in return for his testimony.

The big fish is Hernandez, doubt they could care less if Pouncey was involved or had knowledge of his gun trafficking.

Subpoena came from the local state court, not the federal court. If this was indeed the interstate gun trafficking investigation(federal crime) it would be from the federal court. Just ask your friend.

He was served a subpoena as a key witness against Hernandez not because they want him in jail. Stop trying to convict the guy.

Every other article cites the Peter King SI article as their source. Florio, a colleague of Peter King, is a lawyer himself and much more aware of state and federal laws than myself and you. While I don't like Florio the person he has come very far over the years and does have sources.


You are right, the article does point out that the feds might be involved and they probably are. But it goes on to clarify that Pouncey's involvement though is state and not federal.

Right and Peter King says they are interested in Pouncey because of several incidents involving he and Hernandez. No on knows what the warrant was for it could very well be for a indictment of Pouncey.

You are not always arrested before a grand jury indictment.
