Thats why we weren't the number 1 defense, only the 4th, we're such under achievers.
 
Wow he has Ginn falling to San Diego! If that happens I hope the Phins trade up from our 2nd round pick to get him.

I can't see Peterson falling all the way to number 12. Someone will trade up before he falls out of the top ten.
 
I guess Manny Wright, Rod Wright, Fred Evans and Kevin Vickerson all don't count as youth.

I like Landry as well and I think there is a very good chance he is our guy. A lot of people won't like it beacuse we took a Saftey in the first last year but the guy may be just to good to pass up, especially for a secondary that struggled to make plays. Allen could also be moved to corner possibly.
 
If we go DT at 9 it'd be Beanch and Not Okoye.

Didnt you hear, hes not looking very good lately. According to a few draft guys. Mostly because of the weight gain and lack of quickness after the weight gain. I like Akoye over Branch mostly because of the work ethic. Not that Branch doesnt have it, its that some question it and Akoye is never questioned about anything other than how big is this guy going to be.
 
our defense is full of youth...we draft Landry, and put him at FS. Yeremiah Bell stays at SS, Jason Allen moves to CB, and then we have Andre Goodman/Will Allen/Travis Daniels/even Will Poole at the other CB..all somewhat young guys. On the defensive line, we have Matt Roth/Manny Wright/Fred Evans/and Rod Wright...as for linebacker, we have a young Channing Crowder...and then Zach and Porter...all guys who will be good for another 3-4 years at most. i seriously think the Wright guys and Evans will be the future D-line of Miami...Rod Wright was a 1st day pick until he got hurt, Manny Wright was a 1st round talent but went in the supplemental draft, Fred Evans coulda gone earlier...but he did show great potential. Matt Roth is, well, Matt Roth...tremendous upside. i think next year is the time to draft the successor to Zach Thomas.
 
Don Banks is not a draft guru. He doesn't take into account most people don't project Amobi as a 3-4 NT which is what we are moving towards.
 
Will writers shut that crap up about our aging d-line, we're not drafting no frigging d-lineman at #9. Also what signs of age did we show last season, we were a top 5 defense and had the best line production of any other team.

our defense is getting old but we cant start out with d in first round. we have to go with offense. MOst likely Quinn or russel who ever is left at nine.
