I'm sick of always hearing about Favre. Yes he had a great career, no one can deny that but everytime on total access, we hear about him. It's like the world is waiting for him to decide. The only thing i hope is he'll come back so it means 4 int. in our game against him! And after, he comments on the McNair situation. I don't thing he is well placed to say anything after leaving GB not nowing his intention. I agree with him on that but please make up your mind so it will save 5 minutes/day of speaking with Schefter for nothing!
Personnally, i think he knows GB won't cut him because he is god there and he might be looking for his big bonus if he stick around. Tennessee might not respect McNair but i'm not sure Favre respect GB.

Just my idea.

Well Favre is one of the best QBs to have ever played in the NFL, so I'd either turn the TV off or show a little respect. Thats all :D

I hear that all the time. Madden especially says that a lot.

He is a good QB, there's no denying that, but one of the best to have ever played???

What exactly is that based on, because I can think of plenty of QBz that were better than him especially if we go back and consider all the retired players...

I am tired of hearing him as well. I know that the media are having a field day with his every quote now, but still he isn't exactly radiating class and good taste now-a-days...

Yeah he is pushing his decision wayyy to long either stay or retire. Not that hard either he has the passion and ability to play or he doesn't.

roger clemons doesnt know what he wants either, but roger was the era champ last year..

favre was the interception leader last year...

brett time to retire and go fishin' ...

you could make a case that he had no offense last year so he was forcing it in order to make plays ^

A great QB helps make mediocre talent play above their ability; he doesn't play down to theirs.

Well, his stats all time are:
#2 in pass attempts with 7610 (Marino is #1 with 8358)
#2 in TD passes with 396 (Marino is #1 with 420)
#2 in pass completions with 4678 (Marino is #1 with 4967)
#2 in Passing Yds with 53,615 (Marino is #1 with 61,361)

Having said that, if Favre plays another year he could become #1 all time in TD passes and pass completions. Add to that the fact that he has won a superbowl and is a 3-time NFL MVP.
I'd say he qualifies as one of the all time greats.
