Don't kill me on this, I just want to get your opinions on this. What if we bring him in for a cheap 1 year contract, just to see how healthy he is and see if he can beat out Armon Binns. If he cant play you cut him and move on, he is proven and the big body WR we have been missing since B.Marshall.

Rice has had one good season in his career, 2009. He's inconsistent at best and he's injured a lot. 14 TDs in the last 4 seasons doesn't sound like much of a red zone threat. I'll pass.

Definitely a good player but cheap is the key word. I don't think he will come cheap or welcome the role as being the 5th WR.

no thanks roll the cap room over, it will be needed next year

I don't think he can even argue he deserves to be more than a #5 WR right now. He hasn't gotten much interest from teams like Carolina who have no one at WR, and hasn't been healthy in a while. But I think would be worth a look even if we end up cutting him. I just want as many weapons possible, and if hes healthy and can be signed for cheap it wouldn't hurt.

Rice made a career off the Brett Favre miracle pass in the back of the end zone.

Rice, not worth what we'd have to pay for him. He's not a good route runner and he has questionable hands (at best). I think with the adds we already have and perhaps adding at least one more in the draft, we should be ok going into the season (assuming certain injured guys can make it back).

Lol.. Seriously? Rice is trash. Not even a 2nd tier WR.
