Seahawks are set to release him. He is coming off a torn ACL but should be fine to start the season.

Rice signed a five-year, $41 million contract with the Seahawks in July 2011. He's due $17.5 million in base salary over the next two seasons.

Would you rather bring Gibson back and stick with Wallace and Hartline on the outside or would you rather move Hartline to the slot (where I think he would be more effective) and stick someone like Rice on the outside opposite Wallace?

No.

Can't stay healthy and made a career out of that one ridiculous Brett Favre pass in the end zone with the Vikings.

We're good at receivers!!!!!! Tight end maybe, but WR not a priority. OL, cb, lb and rb.

absolutely stacked at WR...Wallace, Hartline and Gibson are solid. Mathews is developing young receiver. we have no need for Rice.

I would pass.

Gibson was playing great prior to being hurt and is still under contract. No need to do this.

If I added someone, it would be through the draft...but that isn't a priority, strictly a BPA situation.

No. We have bigger needs at just about every other position.

Ozzy rules!!

I'd do it in a heartbeat. I wanted him coming out of USC.

But only if he agrees to a 1-2 prove it type deal. Let him compete with the other WR;s Best man wins.

You don't see that he is nowhere near the same player he was coming out of usc? He sucks

That's a negative.

I like what we have at receiver. That being said, if for any reason we find ourselves in a position to draft Sammy Watkins, Pull The Trigger.

He is the gem of a very good and deep draft.
