I may be a Dolphins' fan, but I didn't want to give out this "unaward"

I have to give it to LaDainian Tomlinson. For us to win against San Diego, we needed to keep him under 100 yards. And we did. While I loved to see the Phins win, I like L.T. But unfortunately, L.T. was

:0wned:

I don't recall... has L.T. ever rushed for over 100 yards against us?

If he did, I don't remember... cause i don't think he's ever been on a S.D. team that beat us.

I thought it was a far greater accomplishment to keep him out of the endzone

I agree. In the end, that's what counts. :)

I thought for sure it was Reggie Howard.

If he would have played, he would have undoubtedly earned it!

Same here...that has been a task most teams have not been able to accomplish.

tomlinson is overrated. let's stop the talk on him please

Dude, is EVERYONE overrated to you? The best RB in the game is "overrated", our own Hall of Famer, and arguably the best QB ever, Dan Marino is "overrated", you seriously have to be clueless about football.

Now here comes the "that post was boring" response with a little "because I said they are" sprinkled in to "justify" his comments.........:shakeno:

what has tomlinson done? he's had some great games, but for the most part, he's been consistently steady. he gets good fantasy numbers, which IS THE MAIN REASON every thinks he's so great. 20 years ago he just would've been another runningback. he's shut down quite a bit, and didn't even average 4 yards a carry last year. just beacuse he was the only player on his team good enough to catch 100 passes doesn't mean he's a great receiver. i could go on

he's a damn good runningback, but people treat him like "omg omg omg we gotta play against LT what are we gonna do." he's not barry sanderfs

This has nothing to do with fantasy football. LT is a great runner and he is more than capable of catching balls, and even throwing them. There isn't a more complete back in the NFL right now, therefore he is the best back in the league. Nobody said, at least I know I sure didn't, that he is the greatest runner to ever play, or better than Barry, etc etc, it is too early to even make that judgement, but there is no denying he is a great back and I definately don't see a better back than him currently playing. Of course we would be nervous we have to play them, our D has had some trouble this year with worse rushers and now we have to play the best in the game, that's enough to make anyone nervous. Not to mention he looks much better this year than he did last year. He has more moves now instead of just trying to plow the guy over. Now he seems to be able to make them miss or lower his shoulder.
