i think we have got to sign Vernon Carey ASAP

when u consider the so-called best offensive lines in football:-

Giants,
Titans,
Colts (When healthy),
Eagles.

One common factor is consistency in selection and players being selected and chosen continually game after game.

I believe not the best individual players, although talent is needed, but cohesion is the most valaubale factor in producing a top 5 off line (especially with sporano), even the cardinals with consistency are getting good.

therefor, sign Carey kp the line together for the next 5 yrs, which wld produce:-

1) even better running game
2) better protection
3) improved defence(even thgh playing superb) as not on the field as long

Just imagine our off line staying together next 4-5 yrs and the results it cld produce.

I avid NFL fan from rugby mad WALES (englands pretty looking cousing) and am so excited about the future of dolphins under big BP.

]exactly the reason why they have been together for so long is b/c they have had a good line for years they didnt need to replace. we still dont have a RG for certain, our C is still on not so stable grounds with the front office as to waht they want in a C and carey is not performing well at all this year especially compared to last year at LT. Maybe hes overdoing it thats why who konws

but we have our LT and LG in stone for many years. we need to figure out the C and right side before u see any continuity.

i think satale is promising, belv bp and sparano liked what they see in d thom for rg, though, if he doesnt work out wld not mind seeing VT move to Rg where i think he is best (just like leornard davis was always a better G) and then sign classy yng promising RT, though with D thom and shawn murphy dont think this will happ.If DT is as gd as he sparano think he is and i trust his judgement jsut think of the poss next 4-5 yrs

Unfortunately, as an unrestricted free agent with Drew Rosenhaus as his agent, he will seek a long-term deal at an absurd price, which the Dolphins will rightly refuse to pay. Therefore, he will disappoint on another team's roster next year and we will pick up another young right tackle in free agency or the draft.

The only question is at what pick will the Phins tag him at. I don't think he will be a Phin. My only question is what the compensation will be dealt to us for him.

He should expect average RT pay for an extension. He has barely played average this season IMO.
