When did the Chargers who were 8-8 last year (including a loss to the Dolphins) and almost beaten by the lowly Raiders become the '07 Patriots? I think we have a good shot at beating them on Sunday.
 
I don't think San Diego is overrated, but I feel comfortable predicting a win for the Fins this week.
 
I think we have a good shot to win. It wont be easy but the Chargers are definately not unbeatable.
 
SD will commit 8/9 to the box and force Penny to beat us, then Gates will be hammering the seams with Sproles coming out of the backfield. This will be a tough ball game if we can't make rather significant adjustments to take these plays away from them.

They also have a great punter that will help them win the field position battle, especially with our garbage return game.

We need to win this game anyway we can, turnovers and scoring TD's not FG's.

P.S. The Chargers are really banged up for this point in the season and that helps considering we beat them last year when they were healthier.
 
We are in for a beat down. I love my Phins but I know what they can and can't do. Matchup wise this is Bad News Bears. We are in for a long day. Defense will give up 35 points. Watch and see. Dolphins lose bad. 0-5 by the bye week.

And Ricky will run for -50 yards......
 
It will be a difficult game, but we are very capable of winning it. Heck, we SHOULD have beat the Colts and dominated that whole game until the end. It will be a close game and it is a more important game for the Dolphins then the Chargers. I think we squeak it out.

Haha. I love sarcasm. But in all seriousness, Sproles is going to murder us, not so much in the run game but catching balls out of the backfield. You saw what Dallas Clark did to us in the Colts game... Now we get to handle Antonio Gates. Its safe to say that our coverage on opposing teams TE's has been suspect. Then there is Philip Rivers who likes to stretch the field and air it out to Vincent Jackson. Good times ahead. We couldn't stop the Colts without their Number 2 WR. What makes you think we can take down San Diego?

Do I need to go into where we are lacking on Offense or should I just stop the negativity now?
 
We win. Simple calculation

Chargers play a 3-4
Chargers dont have a true Nose Tackle (Williams placed on IR)
No nose tackle means RUN RUN RUN
Perfect, cuz thats Miami formula
So it will be Miami vs Colts all over again.. EXCEPT Chargers dont have Peyton Manning...
Thats why we win... 27-24 Miami
