I really liked Fiedler.. but lets face.. He is WAY too inconsistent.. from 40 to 0 in one week?

if we have a QB in waiting why dont the put him in? Nows the chance... Since fiedler re-injured his knee and we know that Griese cant cut it.. so why not let Sage who has plenty of time to prepare to get his shot?

I'm all for letting sage take the reigns, but I think your lieing to yourself if you think he's the answer to our QB woes. I'm an ISU fan, he's good, but he's not going to be the calibre of a QB that we could draft this year. I say give sage the nod, get brunell (if he comes CHEAP) and draft a rookie to take over about 2 years down the road.
