If the rumors talking about a mega-deal for Calvin Pace are true. Does it mean that JT will be traded?
If Pace and Ferguson are signed, a 3-4 defense is the way the team seems to go to, and in that formation JT is be best suited as an OLB. However, we already have Joey Porter there, so I think that increases the likelihood of JT being traded (unless we cut Porter).
On top of that JT can't be very happy with the team paying big money to Pace and Porter and not adjusting his contract.
What do you think?

i believe so, although i really don't want it to happen. no way we pay 3 OLB's that much money.

damn and I thought all "trade JT" talks were over.

Again the Dolphins are not going to trade JT!!!!!

I'm not sure that the signing of Pace means JT will be gone, but i am getting the feeling that JT will indeed be gone. Unless of course they just keep him at DE next season.

I am more inclined to think that signing Pace means we will not draft Chris Long. Jake Long here we come?

this is only if we decide to pay pace out the ears. do you see us having 3 OLB's making that much money next year? i don't.

JT needs to get over it. He don't deserve no more money and should act more like a team player. If he wants to win he can swallow his pride or go somewhere else IMO.

a bit harsh, but i tend to agree. i want to see him on a contender - that dejected look on his face all last year really got to me.

His play made me sick last year to be honest with you. It seemed like he would just run up to the lineman and lock arms and wait for a whistle. No way Zach should have went before him IMO.

also tend to agree. JT used to take over games, last year he just wasn't feeling it out there. i always figured if we let one go, the other was bound to follow.

You have got to be kidding Zach was old and slow and couldn't cover a reciver/TE. JT still put up numbers and played while injured and your saying his play was not lousy. So when JT is on the outside waiting to tackle a running back and the running back cuts inside its not his job to tackle him. Don't blame JT for nothing.

Imo if we draft Chris Long he would play DE for the whole year and Joey Porter may move to the inside.

I've felt JT was leaving since the day I heard he was going to be "Dancing WIth the Stars" instead putting in time in the Dolphins off-season workout program, as good as JT is that could not have given Parcells a warm feeling about JT's desire to stay in Miami.....but who knows?
