I think BP runs the show, and most would agree, but who signs the checks, I'm guessing Ross, right?

I ask because I hear a lot of people saying BP won't give a big contract to this player or that player, but if Ross is willing to spend big, especially if this year is uncapped, then who wins, BP or Ross?

And if Ross does spend big, does that mean BP packs up and moves on?

Can someone clarify?

Thanks

Im pretty sure Ross doesnt have a say in anything. Bill is the Vice President of Football Operations and i believe has final say in everything football related.

Bill runs everything and Ross keeps to himself... But, Ross said he will open up his checkbook to do whatever Parcells wants to do.

BP runs the football side. Ultimately Ross does sign the checks, but he does allow BP to have the final say on football operations. Ross is smart enough to stay out of the way.

Ross has already expressed that he wants a playmaker / reciever in Miami! I would have to think that his recommendations will not be ignored.

If your question was litteral, I am guessing they don't get checks. I am sure it is EFT. I would hate to loose one of those checks.

My bet is Parcells has free reign to do as he pleases as long as Ross is happy with the outcome.

It is Ross's money, so yes he does sign the checks. However, he likely tells Parcells you can spend what you want, but when it actually comes to giving the player money, it comes from Ross.
