Polite was pedaling away prettty vigorously on the exercise bike. He also did some backpedaling and butt kicks while working with a team trainer, who had to adjust the brace on Polite’s knee at one point.
Those are good signs, as is the fact Polite has played 33 straight games (including playoffs) since joining the Dolphins as a free agent at this time two years ago. The man is fairly rugged, as the position demands, so odds are good he’ll be ready by Sunday.
