I know nothing about this guy just like probably every other poster on FH, but unlike others I won't be jumping off a ledge just bc I don't know the guy.

Yeah, reading the board is more depressing than anything the Dolphins do. I especially love how everyone is an expert and truly believes that they know anything about any of these candidates. Guess what Finheaven? Regardless of how much you think you know, none of you know ****, plain and simple.

I actually prefer McCoy over Philbin or Bowles because he has proven to be able to adapt to the strengths and weaknesses of his team; Philbin had McCarthy calling plays and the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, Jermichael Finley, etc. executing, he'd be the worst coach in history if he failed with those studs. I hated the Bronco's offense, but I still tip my hat to McCoy for not trying to turn Tebow into something he isn't and will never be. He took the one thing Tebow is good at and designed an offense that he can flourish in. That's a quality I would definitely want in my HC. If the rumors are true and he's our next HC, I'm sure he's thanking the moon and stars for getting him away from the curse of an inefficient throwing QB that is Tim Tebow. Besides all of this, he just seems more of a leader to me than Philbin, and leadership is one of the most important quality a HC needs, but that's just my opinion.

This whole the sky is falling; "I'm done with the Dolphins"; "Here goes mediocrity for another 3 years"; "This shows that this organization is clueless", blah blah blah, just sounds downright stupid IMO. You're gonna stop rooting for the Fins because "your guy" wasn't chosen? Give me a break! If that's the case, let me be the first to say "thank you", you were probably one of the members that I regularly skipped over when reading posts anyway. None of us KNOW how any of these guys are gonna perform, so sit back and let it d@mn thing unfold! Even if they hired the Strength and Conditioning coach, I'd let it play out, because obviously they chose him thinking he has qualities that would make him a good fit for the job. These guys wanna win more than we do, and they surely know far more football than anyone on this site, so just relax and let's see happens.

Yup, he is the happiest man in America right now. Not only is he getting promoted to one of the 32 most coveted leadership positions in sports, he won't have to hitch his tails to a kid who can't even complete 50% of his throws and severely limits what he can run on offense.

Luck has nothing to fear but wait till RGIII shows off his live arm at the combine - not sure we can get him after the bidding war ensues - at least McCOy can get the run game going LOL

Yeah, after hanging around here the past two weeks I keep thinking I should have studied to be a pharmacist instead of computer science. ;)

Plenty of people around here are over medicated or under medicated. :chuckle:

Simon Clancy....should visit his old home @ Finheaven more often, I know he probably is up to bigger things, but insight like his is scarce these days...

RG3 will be a Dolphin

*** News Flash ****

Cold white particals were seen in hell today.............

Now heres a nice fantasy to build up for a huge disappointment by draft day when if there even is an effort at all in RGII will be another futile attempt to show the fans the aggressive approach of a FO thats basically ends up chasing it's tail and ending in failure.....been there seen that (to many times for hope)....

No way we get RGII but I'm sure we will see major discussions on the fantasy of our organization pulling that off...Snow in Hell before we'd get RG and a waste of time to even fantasize about it...

If you need me, I'll be looking for the highest building to jump off of.....Or I think I'll just walk into traffic.

Now Boomer is someone I trust, so if he is saying it then it's in concrete as far as I am concerned. Next will be the wait for OC and DC and the rest of the staff. Thanks Simon.

I smell something, smells like burnt toast

Sounds like just about everyone got burned on this one... who knows, maybe we're still being burned.

Wasn't it one of the Miami beat writers who siad that the Dolphins were sending out mixed messages this is as almost as good as the Dolphins WON'T draft a QB they are settled on John Beck and then they went ahead and darfted Henne
