How do you get a part of someones thread in that quoted "box" you want to comment on? Thanks

1. Hit the reply button rather than the quote button
or
2. Erase the quoted text.

That was an easy question :wink:

Are you asking how to get that box in your post? Or get rid of it?

To get it in your post click the "Quote" button at the bottom of their post.

To get rid of it, follow Celtkin's post.
 
Thanks, so I hit the quote button, but how do I only get only a certain sentence in the "box".... I feel like such a dope
 
Hit the quote button and when the box pops up, just erase the text that you want to get rid of. Then type your response at the very bottom (make sure it's after [/quote] ) and then press Submit Reply.
 
Click the quote button. When the next screen comes up, you will see the quoted text between

[quote ] Words, more words and lots of important stuff [/quote ]

What ever you don't want to keep, just erase
