Simple solution....

While I don't go to games because its $$$, I do get sunday ticket and will in 2012. It is depressing watching home games and seeing nobody in the stands, hearing no crowd cheering for the team. It's embarassing when the announcers mention it and when the opposing team has more fans in the stadium. I understand your rationale and maybe in the long run it will help the team. Ownership sees Sundays as a day to mingle with the Miami elite and celebrities and it really seems like they aren't so worried about the product on the field. Football is about winning period.

dolphins suck, im embrass to say ive invested the past 12 years in defending and trying to always find hope. time and time again they fail me

I certainly have no intentions of going to any home games this year, but does it really make a difference honestly? The last few games I've been to there were chants for the other team that were audibly louder than for the fins, even on TV. I don't think there is anything more embarrassing than when you hear "Lets go Jets" being chanted like it's their home game on TV...oh, actually there is. When Ross, stands on the opposing teams sidelines, while we get beat on "Gator Appreciation Day" a college hundreds of miles from us, who's ex-QB is on the field for the other team.

I wish the celeb owners would attempt a hostile takeover or something. Or maybe look in to resurrecting Joe Robbie.

You so called fans make me sick... Wait til the offseason and draft is over before coming to your lame conclusions.

Manning considered Miami because they have a talented roster. Teams are built via the draft not by free agency. Ireland has made some great moves. This team is close to being great...and Ireland will finish the job.

Dude, you can't be serious? Us so called fans have been supporting and following this team for most of our lives, I think we have a pretty good grasp on what's to come based on the beyond questionable offseason moves that are being made.

Manning considered us because we wanted him! We offered him huge money, and we had some good pieces in place, and despite this he still doesn't appear interested.

...and Ireland. C'mon man! Who are you kidding, the guy has had 4 years with us to try and get this right, he's working on his second rebuild with this team! The only thing he's good at is kissing ass. He should've been on the curb with the rest of the Parcells rejects. The only job he's finishing is the screw job that got started back in 2006 and has gotten progressively worse every year since.

With that said, I'll be more than happy to eat my words if I'm wrong.

Amen brother. This constant bitching and childishness MIGHT be one of the reasons that Manning won't come here. Our fan base is HORRID. LIGHTNING WILL NOT BE STRUCK. Things take time, coaches require faith, regimes need time...none of which is ever allowed by Dolphins fans. Maybe Peyton is a grown man and doesnt want to play in a stadium where half the stadium is empty and fan HABITUALLY SIT DOWN ON BIG 3RD DOWN SITUATIONS. God forbid the stadium ever gets loud, God forbid the place gets rowdy.

There are great fans out there. However, any fan that would abandon their team bc they think they know more than people who have committed their LIVES to football get no respect from me. Pathetic.

Ride or die with the Fins. It's a friggin game for God's sake. The idea isn't to constantly have a winner; there are 31 other teams paid BIG MONEY to do the same. Our jobs as fans is to support OUR GUYS, OUR TEAM.

This thread is sickening. And people wonder why the country thinks South Florida fans are so pathetic.
