1. Start Frank Middleton at RG. Move Hadnot back to center and go with that line. Middleton pancaked his man in the three series he was in there. That's the kind of thing we need. He's a mean guy and we need that attitude in there. He starts from now on.

2. Give Feeley the start with the number ones this week. He earned it. Ferrotte had his chance, now it's Feeley's. I wouldn't mind signing Tim Couch to the roster. Who knows. Maybe his arm was just hurt.

3. Set your four receiver set as:
1. Chambers
2. Boston
3. Booker
4. Welker

-With Gilmore and Thompson wrapping up the fifth and sixth spots.

4. Go with Diamond as your back up tight end. Couldn't tell if Diamond can block though. The call on Lee will be a tough one.

5. Start Crowder opposite Seau with Thomas in the middle. Those three can really hit. Spragan, Pope and Glenn cqan come off the bench.

6. Keep six RB's (Brown, Williams, Gordon, Morris, Evans and Martin). Sign Harris to the PS in case of injury. Unfortunate for Minor but we just don't have room.

7. Cut Turk and promote the rookie. I like Turk. He's a good guy, but he's shanking too many balls and we need a youngin' out there. The rookie looks pretty good.

You may know more about football than me. But when you say bring in Couch, I lost interest. couch is no better than the backups we have. Quit reading after that. I'm sure you had some good points. no disrespect meant.

I think people are beginning to bank on their HOPES that couch will come in and lead this team. After 5 years in this league as a #1 draft pick, he has done absolutely nothing to justify that pick. And he absolutely embarassed himself in last year's preseason. Just don't get your hopes up.

I just thought it was stupid to stop reading the rest of the post. I don't think Couch is the answer, just more furniture for the team.

Just a note to no 4, Diamond is an excellent blocker, he's a keeper

I agree. I do think Nick is gonna set an offensive line this week. Whoever starts this week will probably start on the 11th.

I agree. Feeley should get the snaps with the first team. I think he should also get them the following week. In my opinion Gus offers us nothing accept knowledge of Linehan's scheme. Go with A.J. and lets FINALLY see what we have.

I like that...accept for Thompson. I don't see him on the roster on the 11th. I think Mann goes to the practice squad and Thompson gets cut or traded. We go with 5 recievers on the regular roster and Mann on the practice squad. That should be enough.

I think Diamond is the back-up. If McMike does'nt pull his head out of his a$$ soon Diamond could find himself starting.

I don't think Spragan goes to the bench. In fact he has been VERY good in the preseason. I think Crowder ends up beiong the 4th backer. He has been playing 2 spots in the preseason. He'll play at times in the 3-4 and be there if someone gets hurt.

I think people are giving Glenn a roster spot a little to soon. Eddie Moore can play, if he can ever stay healthy. If Moore stays in one piece long enough the next two weeks he makes the team.

I think people are ditching Minor a little to soon. The guy is valuable. He is very good on special teams coverage (something Gordon is not) and he is the back-up kick returner.

I think Gordon is a goner. He offers nothin right now in my opinion. If it is my decision Minor makes this team because of his versatility and Gordon gets either cut or traded.

This is a possiblity. If anything Jones' cap number is much more friendly then Turk's.

I dont think cutting turk is a possibility is all. I think saban just brought in the rookie so he could show case his talent and possibly get a job elsewhere.

Why would Saban even care if he got a job elsewhere? Sabans job is to rebuild the dolphins franchise. he could care less about that punter if he didn't think he could help the team.

Because alot of coaches bring in kickers/punters for that reason. The eagles brought a kicker in during the offseason. Does he have any chance of replacing david akers job? No. They brought him in for the sole purpose of showing caseing his skills so maybe another team in need of a kicker will give him a chance. I think this is same situation.

the best suggestion is the 1st...mckinney just sucks...let hadnot start at c and middleton at guard...if we dont get the o-line straightened out than it wont matter who the qb is...

No teams bring kickers in every year because they don't want to pay the high $$$ amount established kickers make. if the Kicker the eagles brought in shows he has good range and can make the clutch kicks than yes Akers will be gone. teams will gladly pay a kicker the minimum if he is good. rather than paying top $$$ for an established kicker.

i agree with all of those but 7. the rookie has a huge buut and can boom them down field. thats great appart from the coverage cant get there fast enough so they wont be able to stop the return and the pun will be very short or returned. if the rookie works on his hand time then more often than not the punt will be fair catched.
also the RB situation. i know that miami have 2 top RBs both which are worthy of the starting position. this will cause upset for the RB which looses out the race for starter and i would like this not to happen. only solution is a trade with a team with a RB problem for a QB. or a trade for a pick so that we are set up next year with 2 high picks giving us options to pick up a QB and were ever else there is a problem. i agree with welker at wr 4 and then we have stone hands at 5&6, gilmore and thompson. but the only reason welker was on the team last year was for KRs. would this mean he returns less or not at all and we get a different kr? then we have gordon i expect to be traded or released because he wont be happy at #3 running back. this means minor can play kr and back up. sammy morris is useful because he can come in at HB or FB so he is value for money.
