A poll of the fans here.

If you pick the Fins, who do you think makes this win possible? I'll say Grimes will have some impact plays. He's on fire. Wake will not be quick enough to catch Newton (Prove me wrong!) and no faith in Tanny to Wallace yet.

The Dolphins CAN win, don't get me wrong but...

The Pats were beat and their Offense is on a completely different level than ours.

The Dolphins are so inconsistent on both sides of the ball I would never bet money on them.

Two weeks ago they could not stop the run or run the ball. The Panthers have a much better defensive line than the Bucs.

Defensively the fins could get the job done IMO, the Oline though is my concern. I think Philbin & company may be our advantage for this game. We have better coaches all around. (For a change). :err:

My heart says Miami my intellect says Carolina.

Not sure who the difference maker will be for Miami to get them the win. I would like to say Wake but he has been invisible 4 out of the past 5 games. I would say probably Grimes. He knows how to play Steve Smith from his time in Atlanta. with that being said however, chances are we will likely see Carroll covering Smith since Coyle isnt good enough to scheme something that puts Grimes on the left side and Carroll on the right side, being Smith typically plays on the left side of the field.

I dont expect any from our offense to show up although it would be nice to see Mathews have the kind of game he had two weeks ago. I cant believe how cleanly he catches the ball using just his hands. Actually, if I were to pick an offensive playmaker it would be Clay.

Hopefully Tannehill wont lose the game for us by turning it over. Something to note however, Tannehills INT trending is such that he throws an INT in consecutive games and doesnt throw one in that third game. He didnt throw a pick in week 2, then threw picks in weeks 3 and 4, then didnt throw one in week 6, then threw picks in weeks 7 and 8, didnt throw one in week 9, then threw picks in weeks 10 and 11.... Which brings us to week 12. The trend is that he will not throw a pick against Carolina. Lets hope the trend continues for this week.

I think we'll see Ryan Tannehill's best performance as a Dolphin since the Arizona game last season.

350+ yards and 4 TD's in shocking fashion.

Panthers underestimate us and are stunned, 37-24.

Will never go against my Phins!
It might not be likely, but nothing is impossible.

Miami 27 - panthers 24

Great analysis on T-hills trending. Hopefully we benefit from it. I'd like to see Grimes on Smith, that would neutralize him. I think our lbers are physical enought o catch Newton, but can they actually tackle him?
I'd love this to be the Tanny Wallace show, but have more faith in Hartline and Matthews right now.

Miami has already beaten a red hot team coming into Miami (Bengals), and if the Dolphins are able to not allow the distractions to get to them, and the Refs do allow the actual players to decide the game, I think Miami has a very good shot.

This game will come down to if our receivers and Tannehill can take advantage of their dbs. Our receivers will be the ones that win this game. We won't be able to run most likely until late and passes to the backs and TEs are also going to be tough because of the panthers LBs. So it will be up to Wallace, Hartline and Matthews to win us this game. We need big plays and scores from these three guys. On defense it is all about Dion Jordan. He should not leave the field in this game. He should be shadowing and delay blitzing and come after Newton all game. Wake can and should have a big impacted as well Grimes and Smith should be alot of fun to watch. DL has to play contain with NEwton and the big guys need to push the pocket from the middle. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Odrick at DE for this game, it would help our run d but also our contain. Put Jordan at WLB. I think we can pull this one out but we will have to be perfect and also score a defensive TD.

I would almost bet my own life against that not happening lol.

Never bet your life on anything when it comes to the NFL. Is it unlikely? Probably, but not impossible.

What if with Tannehill's new line of thinking of taking more shots deep to Wallace, and letting it fly (Letting Wallace do most of the work, instead of trying to throw a precise deep ball), and they connect even a few times...reaching 300 would not be as big a deal as any of us might think.

if we have the same refs as last week that will happen
