The guy is a good young wr when healthy.. Didn't he play with Marshall in college? He would improve our wr core imop.. Thoughts :)

I don't want him, cause he digressed badly this year.
Ok maybe it's more cause he was on my fantasy squad and sucked it up.
He seemed more of a one hit wonder, and is not a #1 for sure, maybe not even a 2. IF he had a lesser role here maybe he would work out.

http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/Mike-Walker?id=2495771 If we are truely looking for speed we must look at him as an option... Since the 2007 combine he is tied for 6th place amongst WR's at 4.35 in the 40. He is tied at 4.35 with Calvin Johnson and Desean Jackson. Im not sure if he was hurt or just didnt play but I did not find stats for his rookie year...

Career Stats
2008 16 rec 217yds... 13.6... 0 TD
2009 63 rec 869yds... 13.8... 7 TD
2010 43 rec 562yds... 13.1... 7 TD

He was hurt last year, but if healthy, he still has the deep speed and play-making ability we're looking for. I have one major concern. Can he behave in Miami? If the guy had trouble keeping his nose clean in Jacksonville, Miami might be too much temptation for him. Brandon Marshall managed to settle down, and hopefully he could be a good influence.

I say yes, with an performance incentive laden contract and a behavioral clause that could possibly void his contract.

Has to be at least worth looking into. Would be a very good complament to Marshall on the other side.

I just realized that back when he was known as Mike Walker at UCF he shared the same field with Brandon Marshall in 2004 and 2005. In 2004 Marshall only had 8 rec-84yds and Walker had 9rec-191yds-1td. In 2005 Marshall had 74rec-1195yds-11tds, and Walker know recognized as Mike Sims-Walker had 64rec-859yds-5tds. After Marshall was drafted Sims-Walker went on to have 90rec-1178yds-7tds at UCF in 2006.

I like this kid always have, a bit of problems with Injuries but it seems this Regime tends to have a thing for these type of guys.
He's fast, tough and when healthty a hell of a receiver.
Bring him in!

He is exactly the kind of wide out we need. When healthy he's an elite number 2 receiver. I started a thread earlier and he was one of my off-season targets.

I would absolutely love to have this guy as our#2..he can be a GREAT #2. He may not have been able to beat the double coverage as a #1, but I think he can be great for us as a complement to b. marsh. Reminds me of b. Edwards type situation with the jets. Average #1...great #2.
