Now that you bring this up I started watching some you tube for around my peak time of good times as a Dolphin fan. 1982 season, I guess the high point is the AJ Duhe INT return, save me some typing space you know the play! Sealing the AFC title, or maybe one of the Super Bowl TDs. Either the early one that's like this is going to be easy or taking a lead before the half on a dramatic KR.
I came across another and it was a Jets victory over the Raiders. Before you bash me as a trader let me explain... Funny how I remember that season. This is going back to 3rd grade. I was watching bits and pieces of the Jets/Raiders playoff game I was looking for the very end. At one point on the vid the Redskins/Vikings score comes over 21-7 I'm like damn I remember that score. I don't have a photographic memory but the way I absorbed stuff as kid was unreal. I remember many old Super Bowl scores but can't remember even the last year's!
Anyway when I saw the Raiders/Jets game I wanted to see the end again. Jets sitting on the ball running out the clock. I remember that so well and thinking OH yeah! I hated the Jets and had a favorable opinion of the Raiders but I was still like OH YEAH! I know the Dolphins can beat the Jets, the Raiders are tough. A 3rd graders point of view, hehe!
