He retired early but he never filed his retirement papers. I used to love watching this guy play. He was a beast. He is only 30 yrs old so he has some time left. He was the #2 pick in the 2000 draft. He had all kinds of talent. He was All Pro and made the Pro Bowl 3 times each. AT 6'3" 267lbs he has great size and we all know he can get to the QB. He can tackle very well and can play the pass. I dont know but we could probably get him pretty cheap if he is willing to come back. And before you bite my head off It was just and idea. With Porter and Arrington wew could have a good pass rush.

i personally don't see it happen, but i agree he would be worth a look. he was a beast and could definitely help. good point.
 
does beast = distraction? If we are going to chase someone it should be someone with less of an insubordination background.
 
Whatever happened to him? I remember him not being used by the Skins a couple of years ago & then bam he was gone. I know he had injury problems. Such a shame, he was a very talented LB.

I remember when he got drafted, he acted like he just won the lottery. :lol:

He was a constant distraction in DC, between the constant whining to the media, to the issues with his contract bonus to his constant injuries. There were plenty of stories about him not understanding the defense and free wheeling all of the time & other insubordination issues.

He had ONE really good game as a Giant, then he managed to get injured I think in the very same game. He seems like he could give Jason Allen a run for his money in an IQ contest. :d-day:
 
Has Arrington's knees gotten any better? Has he recovered from that motorcycle accident caused him to lose about 30 lbs?

I think his knee recovered somewhat then he blew out his achilles with the Giants or something like that...

Or was he recovered from the achilles and then he had an ankle injury. :err:
