SI's mock draft

If McClain is there you have to take him, no question.
 
SI has Dunlap going #6 to Seattle after all the stuff he went through this season? His stock is going to fall in a similar fate that Michael Johnson fell last year.

Also, Trent Williams will be drafted before Anthony Davis.

Other than that, their top 15 mock is very impressive.

I dunno about the Williams suggestion. Davis is really close right now, and with workouts could surpass him (some teams have him rated ahead of Okung), and there is a slim chance that Bruce Campbell (who will be a huge workout warrior) could surpass him too.
 
There really isn't a standout tackle in this crop....I have them all bunched together for the most part until one guy emerges....none get a top 5 grade from me..
 
they've got Jerry Hughes falling into the 2nd. Does anyone else think that's possible
 
Anything is possible....this is the NFL Draft.....and I do mean ANYTHING...

Likely? That's a different question....can't say that it's likely he falls completely out of the 1st round..

Ummm....No thanks, on all accounts.

1st off we don't need a RB in the 1st round, no matter how much potential he may have, and 2nd we need to fix the middle if our defense (NT, I-LB, FS) if we want to compete.

We do need to consider RB. We don't know how R. Brown will come back from yet another injury, and R. Williams is obviously unwilling to be a feature back. Also, if we draft Spiller, we have the ability to trade Brown - a 2nd wouldn't be impossible - and Spiller has the potential to be a Chris Johnson type of RB.

Pierre-Paul has as much potential as anyone in the draft. After the combine, I doubt he falls to us, but he's a freak of nature. He'd also fill a hole at SSOLB, and he'd give us a dynamic pair of pass rushing OLB's - assuming Wake takes over the WS.

Earl Thomas is a FS . . . so I don't know where your objection comes in there. In the right system, I see him as the next Ed Reed.
 
i am so sick of hearing about mcclain.

its like he is the only talent the fans like in the draft!

all started with non other than.......glenn dorsey.

this year its mcclain.

i hope the suicide hot lines are all open that day because there
are a whole lot of cult of mcclain fans that are going to be
depressed and suicidal after he is picked before us , or even more
likely, the finz pass on him.

he is a real good player. but he doesnt deserve this cultish worship
thats been heaped on him. there are some iffs in his game. iffs
that could raise there ugly head even more in the nfl.
