CNN/SI senior writer Peter King, one of America's premier pro football writers, is one of 50 voters for the Associated Press All-Pro team. In his most recent column, he listed Dolphins right tackle Vernon Carey and fullback Lousaka Polite among his players submitted to the AP team.
"Good idea by the Dolphins in not forcing him on the left side and allowing him to find a home here," is what King wrote of the Dolphins right tackle. Carey started all 16 games this past season and has played in 92 straight regular season games, including starts in 75 regular season games in a row. He was part of an offensive line that didn’t allow a sack for two straight games (Games 9-10) for the first time since games 8-9 of the 2005 season. He also helped the Dolphins rush for 250 yards on October 4 against Buffalo, the most rushing yards by Miami since Dec. 1, 2002 when they rushed for 270 yards at Buffalo.

note: Good for Vernon, but I just don't get this one. To me he looked sluggish this year and got beat too many times around the corner. He looks like he's carrying too much weight in his mid section.
