It was nice to hear Skip ( who I do not like) to be all over Miami's jock on Cold Pizza. He said Super Bowl and Saban about three times during his so called analysis of Culpepper possibly being released by Minny.

I know this means nothing but I am just getting excited to be hearing so much hype by the media that usually bypasses anything positive about our beloved Fins.

Miami Dolphins 2006 oh how sweet it is :dolphins::dolphins::dolphins::dolphins::dolphins:

I can't stand bayless much either, but it's great to hear that the perception of the Dolphins future has not altered much after the whole new Ricky fiasco.

Well Ricky isn't "thee" guy like he was 2 seasons ago, so he's pretty much an after thought now.

Well it wouldn't be fair to jump up and down about the hype surrounding the Fins and believe what we are hearing now if we can't believe the hate, it comes across as a Bias homer. We are what we are and if we are a SB team so be it, however if we are just a middle of the pack football team which I believe we are at this point then we will have to live with that. Skip Bayless....who is Skip Bayless, nothing but a football prognosticator and not a very good one. I'll just act like he never said anything at all.

Too bad it didn't come from an actual sports reporter. Honestly, every time I hear him make a comment it's makes me wonder if he has ever seen a sporting event. He looks like he should be drinking martini's and sailing off the coast of Maine. I would have even accepted it if it came from Woody Paige, but since it comes from Skippy I can't even accept it as news.

The media isn't bias agaisnt MIami in a negative way. But, when you suck (and we did suck for a long time) they are gonna say it.

My concept of time must be different than yours. We sucked last year and at times this year (see the Cleveland game). But "for a long time", I'd have to disagree there.

We were 2-14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 2 years we had Ricky we DIDN'T make the playoffs!! Maybe we didn't totally suck those 2 years, but when you don't make the playoffs and in one of those years choke away an 18 pt lead in 4 minutes, don't expect the media to talk highly about you!

I think I remember seeing this kind of "hype" almost every year in the 90's and a few years in the 21st century. I'm not a big fan of it, personally I prefer when you quietly suprise the league, as opposed to getting all the offseason hype.

Time will tell but the next 10 days are going to be "very" interesting to say the least.

Regardless if they are good or bad at what they do (which I believe the former) They still see the wagon moving in Miami and they are jumping on. I did'nt bring this up because I believe thier word is Gospel, I brought it up because even they see the great things that are happenning in Miami. And for them to see that it will bring more media coverage to what our team is becoming (in a positive light) and to me that is great.

Skip and Woody are both goofie and tend to make comments based more on rumors rather than on reliable facts like Mort, Clayton and Fat Hank. But it is good Skip is showing the Phins some love. It looks like Miami has lost interest in Culpepper for a variety of reasons....hopefully we can sign Brees.

Am I the only one who finds it highly unlikly that Minny lets Culpepper go with no compensation at all? Either his knee would have to be absolutly beyond repair (which the report yesterday says isnt true) or he would have had to piss of the new owner/coach in an upbeleivable way. I just dont think either situation has went that far.

I already said that we sucked last year (we were 4-12 BTW). But, not making the playoffs doesn't mean we sucked. I agree that we shouldn't expect the media to talk very highly of non-playoff teams. But to say we sucked is pushing it too far IMO.
