Hey guys, I never liked hundreds of these threads so may as well put all of our opinions here. This is mine.

Cuts-
Joey Porter-Getting older-great leader but just skill isnt there anymore
Gebril Wilson (unless he restructures, in which case i would like him back)

Restructure-
Torbor-Making more than he should
Allen-Great STer, and nick dime guy but is making 1st round coin.

REsign-
Fergy-team leader, keep the rotation going
Ronnie-a lone spark on a dark talented team
Bess-best 3rd down guy I've seen in a while
Polite-no explanation needed
Fasano-good TE. Can block and catch. could be a good TE1, but def good TE2
JT-Got another year on the tires

Sign-
A. Rolle FS-He is owed a cap load of money i think he gets cut.
R. Picket NT-Get him into the rotation. He will be a nice rotational starter. I dont think we need to have the greatest NT, a good rotation of Solia, Picket and Fergy should b good. Not needed if the PS kid shapes up to be solid for us.
D'Quell Jackson LB-Great tackler, force on the D. Better than Ayodele.
Id also look at. A. Bryant-Risky receiver pick but could be the stop gap 1. Thomas Howard-awesome coverage backer who would help covering the TE.

Team before draft-(I apologize if i miss someone)
QB-Henne, White, Thigpen
RB-Ronnie, Ricky, Cobbs, Lex
FB-Lou
WR-Hartline, Cam, Bess, Ginn
TE-Fasano, Haynos, Sperry
T-Long, Carey
G-Brown, Garner, Smiley
C-Grove, Burger
NT-Picket, Fergy, Solia
DE-Langford, Starks, McDaniels, Merling
OLB-Wake, JT, Anderson, Moses
LB-Crowder, Jackson, Ayodele, Walden
CB-Vontae, Smith, Allen, Nate, Allen
FS-A. Rolle, Clemons
SS-Bell, Culver

Needs as of now are WR, OLB, TE, RB, ILB, DT. In that order.

My big board for 12 is as follows.
Suh Dt
Berry FS
McClain LB
Bryant WR
Spiller RB
Spikes LB
Hughes OLB
Williams DT
Thomas S
Griffith TE
Kindle OLB

Suh and Berry are there only there for respect. They are talent of a generation type guys.
McCalin is the best backer in the draft and you just cant pass.
Dez is the best Wr to come out in a while and has all the key to be a star. He remind me of Chad Ocho Cinco+ Micheal Irvin+Andre Johnson's work ethic. Dream if he made it to us.
Spiller is a Reggie Bush type talent who can run up the gut and return kicks with the best of them. I love his receiving threat out of the BF or slot. Can neutralize our weakness at TE, WR, chunk runner, Ster all at once.
Spikes-can play inside or outside. Good blitzer, good tackler, Pro look D.
Hughes-Complete OLB. Can rush with the best and also can tackle.
Williams-not too big a fan of a first round DT, but he needs to garner respect for the pick.
Thomas-i see him as being a great all around FS and can truly help us. He will have a DB learning curve, but can be good for us IMO. kind of a reach.
Kindle-Not a whole lot of college production but was on a stacked team. Great athlete, can rush, tackle and run with anyone. Reach

Dez has to be the pick if he is there. If not you can make a case for Spikes but its hard to pass up the playmaking ability of Spiller.

I for one would be thrilled if this happened. Once i know more about the draft i can do a full draft to go along with the offseason. Please feel free to hate it, and give me some of yours.

i think we get a veteran WR i like Bess and hartline they just need more time, maybe Miles Austin would be great. in the draft we need to go defense, ILB and OLB, NT too and safety as well but i like Clemons he could develop nicely

I wouldnt want Gibril back if he played for free

There are only two things I see wrong with your entire post and those are....
#1. Keeping Wilson whether he restructures or not. (Wilson is a waste of a roster space)
#2. Having Spikes in the middle of your big 12. (Just call him Channing Crowder Jr. the guy makes a lot of tackles but a lot of them are also several yards past the line of scrimmage, I'd be sick if the Phins took him at #12 overall)

Everything else I can pretty much agree with. If Bryant is there at #12 then Take Him, C.J. Spiller I wouldn't be one bit dissapointed in either.

What vet are you reffering to? Jackson, Marshal, Austin- its going to cost us a cool 1st and 3rd. Im not willing to do that for 2 one hit wonder guys and a wife beater

Why does everyone keep saying we need to get a vet WR and go all defense in the draft? Why can't we get a vet LB and/or S and take a WR or TE in the draft? Austin, Marshall, or Jackson aren't going to hit free agency I'd bet you anything you want on that. I say just get whoever you can in FA that will upgrade that position(at the right price). Draft best player available in the draft especially early then start drafting for needs in the middle rounds.

I will take that bet....Marshall will be an RFA.....so what do I get?

well you wern't exactly going out on the limb I thought you were...

Ok ..

Here is most of the ppl on here's offseason plan

First fire Bill Parcells....
Then Fire the rest of the Front office along with all the coaches and players

Except...Lousaka Polite, Devon Bess, Jake Long.. Tyler Thingpen...

Hire Bill Cowher as HC...Hire Mike Leach as OC...Hire Romeo Crennal as DC

Any questions?...

O yea Draft a 6-8 wr with 4-4 speed and Great hands...

Is Lebron available?

how many times are people going to say Resign Polite he has already been signed to a extion

Polite is already signed. He signed a contract extension earlier in the season.

Actually, if you take a look at the contracts, it isn't Gibril Wilson that would need to restructure, its Yeremiah Bell and his $14mil ROSTER BONUS!!!

In fact, I was listening to the radio and heard a caller ask Gil Brandt about the bonus and Brandt said that Parcells signed Gibril Wilson to be the "SS" replacement for Bell, who basically signed a one year deal.

They couldn't find a FS, so they drafted Clemons and re-signed Bell and moved Wilson to FS, because they felt that Wilson was the more athletic out of the two.

Bell outplayed Wilson, no doubt, but I'm just going with what Gil Brandt said on the radio...and that $14mil roster bonus gave it credence...as did the fact that Wilson was 2nd on the team in tackling from the FS spot. Showing he has the skills to play the SS spot.

I would love to use Haynos , Bess , Hartline and Ginn in big trade for Ocho Cinco and then bring in tightend Crumpler, McMichael and then draft

de Swanson Miller. linebacker Orie Lemon and two other linebackers and we could use
Fasano and Crumpler as blocking tes and use Randy and Ronnie in the back field in a new formation called the Hellcat.
